Teranga General Trading Ltd values your privacy. This statement explains which data we collect, why, and what rights you have. We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What data do we collect?

When you use the contact form, we process the data you enter yourself: your name, email address, phone number (optional), pickup location, destination and your message. To prevent abuse, we also temporarily record technical data such as your IP address. If you become a customer, we keep your name, the destination and, if you wish, your email address for status updates in order to track your shipment. The tracking page only shows the status, never your name or email address.

What do we use this data for?

Only to answer your question, prepare a quote and — if you become a customer — carry out your shipment. We never use your data for unsolicited advertising.

Legal basis

We process your data based on your consent and, when you request a quote or become a customer, because it is necessary to enter into or perform an agreement with you.

Sharing with others

We never sell your data. Only when necessary to carry out your shipment do we share the required details with partners such as shipping lines, freight forwarders and customs authorities.

Retention

We do not keep your data longer than necessary. Requests that do not lead to an order are deleted after 12 months at the latest. Customer data is subject to statutory retention periods (such as tax record-keeping obligations).

Cookies

This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies and does not load third-party fonts or scripts.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, and to object to its processing. You can withdraw your consent at any time. To do so, email info@terangatrading.nl. If you have a complaint, you can file it with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
