Frequently asked questions

Good to know

Can’t find your question? Get in touch — we are happy to help.

Ask your question
What goods can I ship?

Almost any usable second-hand goods: furniture, appliances, electronics, bicycles, tools, clothing, vehicles and more. We do not ship hazardous materials, weapons or prohibited goods. Not sure? Just ask us.

How long does it take for my shipment to reach The Gambia?

The sea voyage from the Netherlands to Banjul usually takes a few weeks. The total lead time depends on the departure date, the shipping line and customs clearance. We include a realistic schedule in your quote.

How much does shipping cost?

It depends on the volume, the type of shipment (single items or a full container) and extra services such as pickup and delivery. Request a free quote and we will calculate it for you.

Do you collect my goods?

Yes, we collect goods anywhere in the Netherlands. Prefer to drop them off yourself? That is also possible, by appointment.

Do I have to fill an entire container?

No. You can also send single items in a shared container. You only pay for your share of the space.

Can I ship a car to The Gambia?

Yes. We can ship cars and vans in a container, optionally together with other goods. We help you with the required documents.

Which documents do I need?

Usually a valid ID, a packing list of the goods and — for vehicles — the registration or proof of ownership. We will tell you exactly what your shipment requires.

Do you also buy goods?

Yes. Do you have usable goods to spare, such as appliances, furniture or tools? Get in touch. We will buy them or collect them from you.
